I love to recall the lovely moments
The lovely moments which bring a smile on my face
But no place anywhere in your heart to encase
The long conversations we had
Walking along the lonely path
Sharing all the moments of our life
Where an aim to achieve something was rife
The Sun blessing us with his graceful rays
As he was going down the maze
The green leaves clattering in the trees
Looking at us walk together in cold breeze
Listening to the promises you made
Under the moon in the night shade
Now in the same lonely path I walk
With none walking beside me to talk
Remembering the lovely moments
Watching the same Sun going down the maze
Who witnessed your presence in haze
Feeling your presence in the cold breeze
But the green leaves have changed its color
Falling down on my footsteps on the lonely path
Willing to accompany me in my loneliness
My eyes searching the moon
Hiding behind the clouds
Just to question him
Where is my love?

I will raise a glass
Whisper your name in my head
Smile thinking of you happily nibbling away at a table full of love and laughter
