~~~ Guilty ~~~
Why do most people with money but no education deem themselves invincible?
Treat others as garbage?
Witnessed somebody I am related to be really intensive to somebody I do not know.
I could not say a word. I did not, rather.
Can't stop thinking about it.
Feeling guilty.
Stand guilty.
This Republic Day eve can I take the privilege of asking you all to pledge that:
  • We will be more sensitive and more receptive.
  • Won't snob.
  • Remember manners.
  • Not forget where we come from.
  • Be nice.
  • And be cultured. To acquaintances, to strangers.
  • Build some spine and have the voice to tell somebody that they are wrong, when they are.
What nation is a nation that has got the riches but no culture? Aren't we supposed to be in a country that swims in heritage and culture? Guess we need to remind ourselves of it. Doesn't this serve a warning bell for all of us to wake up!
We, Indians specially- boast about having this rich heritage and crap, at the drop of a hat, but how do we show it in actions? We litter, we spit around, we snob just because we've made some bucks. If Indians knew any good, they would rather rummage through their own history than look at any goddamn body else. Compassion and fellowness is something that India is missing and is drastically getting eloped. Even faster than "tigers".
A nation is a nation, where a citizen is respected by others regardless of what.
A lot of things are to be learnt from West in this respect. I guess it's time to come out of the slumber of misconception and get a proper consciousness, even if it takes a relearning.
Someday, we will truly celebrate THE REPUBLIC DAY in its true sense.
It’s sad a fountain head of civilization which we were is getting reduced to selfishness and insensitivity. I'll admit that there are certain "special" things like caste, etc, which create a specific bracket for a show of nastiness. The elder ones are still acted on by the pressures left behind by colonialism and the complex psychological hangovers it left. Money means everything and sadly younger generation should throw out the current corrupt ones and bring in the change...Will the current generation wake up to the reality, which elder generation failed to correct?
It's also can't be ruled out that nobody can inject compassion or fellow feeling into your heart. It's something we are born with. Unfortunately some people just let it rot away.
Could we be more hypocritical?
We have turned sinners. There is going to be no purgatory unless we realize how flawed we all have been.
What an irony, we are talking about India here which claims to stand for her rich culture!!
Talk about being diabolic,
Look around, culture and courtesies;
Hah! India, thou art ironical...!
What nation is a nation that has got the riches but no culture?
